A unique experience, a dip into the history and beauty of Lake Iseo, along a path that has witnessed the passage of Romans, pilgrims, and wayfarers.

The Ancient Via Valeriana, a Roman road that connected Val Camonica with Brescia, is today an incredibly beautiful hiking trail that winds through the hills and mountains surrounding Lake Iseo. After your hike, consider stopping for lunch in Sale Marasino, a charming town along the lake. With its picturesque views and a variety of restaurants, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious local cuisine.

Our hike will start from Pilzone, a picturesque village on the shores of the lake, and will lead us through enchanting landscapes, among olive groves, vineyards, and fragrant woods. The route is suitable for everyone, even families with children.

We will walk along stretches of Roman road that are still well preserved, a testimony to a glorious past. We will admire old villages, with their ancient dwellings, and we will immerse ourselves in an atmosphere of bygone times.

The route offers unforgettable panoramic views of Lake Iseo and its islands, with Monte Isola rising majestically in the center of the water. The beauty of the landscape will accompany us step by step, giving us unique emotions.

In addition to the sight, the other senses will also be involved in this adventure. We can smell the scent of nature, listen to the singing of birds, and taste the typical products of the area, such as extra virgin olive oil, mountain cheese, and Franciacorta wines.

In Sale Marasino, we will conclude our hike with a lunch stop, an opportunity to enjoy the authentic flavors of local cuisine. We will be able to savor traditional dishes such as polenta taragna, casoncelli and lake fish, accompanied by a good glass of Franciacorta wine.

Do not miss the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience, between history, nature, and flavors!
