This 8.7 km circular route offers a low-intensity transit through the heart of the Franciacorta viticultural landscape. Starting from the Provaglio/Timoline train station at the "Il Viandante" hub, the trail follows a predominantly flat trajectory through the region's undulating hills. The path is designed to showcase the agricultural architecture of the area, characterized by high-density vineyard cultivation and landscaped estates.
A key waypoint on this route is the village of Borgonato, where the trail passes through traditional architectural clusters and rural settlements. The terrain consists of easy-access paths and secondary roads that provide a comprehensive view of the sparkling wine production zones. The hike concludes by looping back to the starting point, where the experience finishes with a structured tasting of local Franciacorta DOCG wines and regional gastronomic products at "Il Viandante."
